I started a job that has nothing to do with architecture because there are no jobs in architecture still. However, there are good things to having this other job such as traveling. I have been to a couple of places so far and I am keeping a blog about the different things I see. I will try to visit as many architectural landmarks as possible in my travels and I figure this will be great experience for future reference.
Also, I hope to meet some architects in my travels and visit their practices. I have been to the Gensler office in San Francisco so far and it was very neat. They had a great view of the Bay bridge which seemed to go through their building.
On other news I am thinking of going back for my master’s next year at IIT and looking forward to writing a thesis and developing a serious project that will be my accomplishment. Still working on what exactly it will be.
